Changsha County, Ningxiang and Liuyang Among Top 100 Counties and County-level Cities for Investment Competitiveness

CCID Consulting, a firm affiliated with a think tank under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, released a list of China's top 100 counties and county-level cities in terms of investment competitiveness on November 30. Changsha's 1 county and 2 county-level cities all made the list. Among them, Changsha County ranked 8th nationwide; Ningxiang county-level city 20th; and, Liuyang county-level city 21st.

CCID Consulting comprehensively assessed the investment competitiveness of 1,864 county-level administrative divisions, including 394 county-level cities, 1,301 counties, 117 autonomous counties, 49 banners and 3 autonomous banners, based on an evaluation system composed of five dimensions, namely, government service capability, investment vitality, factor attractiveness, infrastructure support and ecological environment.

Changsha County ranked 8th this year, one place up from last year. Ningxiang moved up 4 places from last year to 20th, registering the fastest and the most improvements among Hunan's counties and county-level cities on the list. Liuyang remained the same ranking as last year.
