Special Screenings of Federico Fellini Films to Be Held

This year marks the 50 anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and Italy, and also the centennial of the birth of Italian iconic film director Federico Fellini. In order to enhance the Sino-Italian cultural exchange and the friendship between the two peoples, and pay respects to the great film director, special screenings of Fellini films will be held in Changsha from December 4 to December 10. Twelve screenings of Fellini’s 6 masterpiece films will be shown at the Poly International Cinema (Changsha Fuxing). The screening event is hosted by the China Film Archives and the Hunan Film Administration, and organized by the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee and its Publicity Department. 

Schedule:  

La strada (“The Road”): 15:30 on Dec. 4, and 10:00 on Dec. 8;

Otto e mezzo (“8 1/2”): 10:00 on Dec. 5, and 14:00 on Dec. 8;

I vitelloni (Spivs or The Young and the Passionate): 14:00 on Dec.5, and 14:00 on Dec. 7;

La dolce vita (“The Sweet Life”): 10:00 on Dec. 6, and 10:00 on Dec. 9;

Klauni (“Clown”): 14:00 on Dec.6, and 14:00 on Dec. 9;

E la nave va (And the Ship Sails On): 10:00 on Dec.7, and 10:00 on Dec. 10.
