Huang Lanxiang, CPC Hunan Provincial Standing Committee member and CPC Hunan Provincial Committee United Front Work Department director, inspected Hong Kong-invested enterprises in Changsha on June 30.

Huang visited the Ningbang Group and HB (Changsha) Film Town and talked with the managers. The Ningbang Group invested 20 billion yuan in large-scale commercial complexes in Changsha, Loudi, Zhangjiajie, and Chenzhou. Its president He Jinsong, also a member of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee, has contributed 30 million yuan to Hunan’s public welfare programs. HB (Changsha) Film Town, with a total investment of more than 3.4 billion yuan, is China’s first comprehensive film and television program production center with a whole industrial chain. Liu Qidong, president of HB (Changsha) Film Town and also a member of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee, made donations to Hunan during the epidemic outbreak. They both expressed confidence in Hunan’s business environment and future development. As the Hong Kong members of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee, they will fulfill their duties to support the implementation of the National Security Legislation for Hong Kong SAR, and contribute to maintaining stability of Hong Kong and implementation of the “one country, two systems”.

Huang learnt about the enterprises’ development, and the impacts of the epidemic on their operation. She noted that, the two enterprises have a good momentum of development in Hunan, and have contributed to Hunan’s high-quality development. The two entrepreneurs have done a good job in promoting Hunan-Hong Kong communication and cooperation and Hong Kong’s prosperity and stability. She hoped them to maintain a firm confidence and stable development condition, and called for related departments to take positive efforts in improving business environment to attract more Hong Kong entrepreneurs and investors.
