Xu Dazhe, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee deputy secretary and Hunan governor, joined Chenzhou delegation deliberations on January 15, 2020. He gave guidance on facilitating precision casting industry development.

Jiahe County of Chenzhou City had a reputation of being “the casting capital in south of the Yangtze River” in ancient times. Nowadays, the “Precision Casting Featured Town” locates here. Jiahe’s casting industry is under a butterfly change from “mid and lower end” to “high end”.

Governor Xu required relevant departments to organize coordination meetings and cooperation promotions as soon as possible. These would strengthen information exchange, and supply and demand matchmaking between Jiahe and the manufacturing companies around Hunan.

He also talked about characteristic town construction. He pointed out that the precision-casting characteristic town relies on the historical heritage and industrial foundation of its casting industry. The focus is, with the premise of ensuring green ecology, to develop modern industries and build brands. Efforts should be made to promote high-quality development and increase the people’s income.
