A press briefing for the 2020 World Fireworks Conference - Global Fireworks Industry Expo was held on January 8. It announced that the expo will be held in Changsha in April.

The expo will be hosted by the China Fireworks and Firecrackers Association, China Grocery Products for Daily Use Marketing Society, and Changsha Municipal People's Government. Hundreds of fireworks merchants from 36 foreign countries such as the United States, Canada, Russia, Germany, France, and Japan, and more than 3,600 domestic fireworks wholesalers and 2,000 manufacturers, will attend.

Four parallel forums will be held during the World Fireworks Conference, focusing on such topics as the high-quality development of fireworks industry, international creative art fireworks, and the transformation and upgrading of fireworks supply and sales. This will move the fireworks industry towards high-quality development featuring cultural creativity, cultural and tourism integration, and intelligent technology.

The expo will cover an exhibition area of about 50,000 square meters. More than 1,200 fireworks enterprises from home and abroad will participate, and over 3,000 new-type safe and environment-friendly art fireworks and drug-free sprayers, and intelligent somatosensitive fireworks equipment will be displayed. In addition, more than 10 order-placing meetings for fireworks manufacturers will be organized, with an estimated order value of 40 billion yuan.
