The Hunan Equipment Manufacturing and Central Government-owned Enterprises Matchmaking Conference was held in Changsha on December 3. More than 500 representatives of central enterprises, leading enterprises going global from other provinces and cities, and Hunan major equipment manufacturing companies and key enterprises going global participated. Dai Daojin, CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee vice chairman, attended.

Hunan recently has achieved great results in “going global”, thanks to the rapid development of advanced manufacturing. Construction machinery is one of China’s 12 key industries to promote international production capacity and equipment manufacturing cooperation. Hunan is one of the largest construction machinery industry manufacturing bases in China. In 2018, three Hunan enterprises were among the top five national construction machinery enterprise list, accumulating rich experiences.

The conference suggested to make joint efforts for promoting Hunan enterprises to “go global” to boost Hunan’s economy, in order to further deepen communication and cooperation between central and Hunan enterprises. Hunan construction machinery and architecture industries were encouraged to give full play to their unique advantages, and actively collaborate with central enterprises to “go global”. Meanwhile, central enterprises and their Hunan branches were expected to further increase investment and construction in Hunan, and promote all-round, multi-field, multi-level, and multi-form cooperation. Hunan will make every effort to optimize services and create a favorable business environment.

A number of cooperation projects were signed on site, including the strategic cooperation agreements between the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce and PricewaterhouseCoopers; the China Railway Seventh Group Co., Ltd. and Zoomlion; and, the China National Chemical Engineering Sixth Construction Co., Ltd. and Sany.
