Changsha Mayor Hu Meets with His Counterpart of Jinju City, South Korea

On October 29, Hu Zhongxiong, deputy secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, Changsha mayor, and secretary of the CPC Working Committee of the Xiangjiang New Area of Hunan Province met with Cho Kyu-il, mayor of Jinju City, South Korea. Changsha Vice Mayor Liu Mingli also attended.
Mayor Hu welcomed the guests to visit Changsha. He said that in recent years, there have been increasingly close exchanges and cooperation between Changsha and South Korea. Changsha City and Gumi City of South Korea have even become sister cities. Changsha cherishes the exchanges and cooperation with South Korean cities and enterprises. Jinju Mayor Cho Kyu-il’s visit has created a new chapter for Changsha-Jinju friendly cooperation. 
He hoped that the two cities will establish an all-round cooperative relationship to further:
-increase cooperation in construction machinery, auto parts and other manufacturing fields so as to expand economic and trade exchanges;
-strengthen cooperation in modern agriculture so as to promote bilateral exchanges in the import and export of agricultural products, agricultural machinery and agricultural technology; and,
-deepen cooperation in education, science and technology, culture, and tourism so as to promote mutual visits and exchanges between the peoples and art groups of the two cities. 
Jinju Mayor Cho Kyu-il thanked Mayor Hu for his warm reception. He related that Changsha has a beautiful and clean environment, rapid progress in urban construction, and advanced manufacturing industry. Jinju hoped to cooperate with Changsha in wider areas and at a deeper level. He hoped that the two cities will further deepen economic and cultural exchanges, and cooperation among outstanding enterprises, so as to promote the friendship between the two cities and achieve win-win development.
