Xie Jianhui welcomed the Lao guests on behalf of the CPC Hunan Provincial committee and the Hunan Provincial People’s Government. She said that this year is the 10th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Laos. The bilateral ties are during the best period of development in history. In recent years, Hunan and Laos have strengthened cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, agriculture, tourism, culture and education and have achieved fruitful results. Xie added, the training course will further enhance friendship for mutual development and trust. He said this time Laos hoped to learn from Hunan’s effective poverty alleviation practices and push forward the China-Laos relationship constantly as a good neighbor, friend, comrade and partner.
