The Hunan government will roll out 309 key construction projects in 2022, according to the Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission on March 24. The province is pacing up the commencement of the projects to stabilize investment.
 
With a total investment of more than 1.8 trillion yuan, the 309 provincial key projects include:
-- 178 industrial development projects;
-- 109 infrastructure projects;
-- 16 people’s livelihood projects; and,
-- 6 ecological environmental protection projects.

“Tower materials are ready and we start lifting!” On March 24, near Huangxing Avenue in Changsha County, the 12th section of the 1000 kV Nanyang-Jingmen-Changsha ultra-high-voltage (UHV) AC project is assembling a tower in an orderly manner.

The project is the third trans-provincial UHV power line in Hunan after the commissioning of Qilian-Shaoshan UHV and Nanchang-Changsha UHV power transmission projects. According to the relevant person in charge of the State Grid Hunan Electric Power UHV Office, 60% of tower assembling and erection at Hunan section has been completed, and the project is expected to be completed and put into operation in October this year.

At the Changsha Wangcheng Economic Development Zone, the construction of a 5G intelligent terminal industrial park is in full swing. Major structure of all individual buildings have completed roofing work and the buildings will be completed in April. At present, leading intelligent manufacturing enterprises such as BYD Electronics, Honor Terminal, and Dahua Technology have agreed to settle in the park.

The Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission stated that departments at all levels should take the provincial key construction projects as the guide, pay close attention to the preliminary work, project progress, guarantee factors of production and performance supervision, and go all out to ensure projects implementation.
