[Agro-product of Geographical Indication]Zhangshugang chili

   

Zhangshugang chili is a traditional local specialty, with a centurial history of breeding and cultivation. In 2013, it was granted as a national geographical indication certification mark. It is also a famous and superior agro-product approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, and Hunan's famous brand. This year, the chili plantations in Zhangshugang Town ishas an area of 7,500 mu (about 500 ha.). The annual output is estimated to reach 8,000 tons, worth 150 million CNY.
