Sun Wenyan

Sun Wenyan, born on 27 December 1989 in Changsha, Hunan, is a Chinese competitor in synchronized swimming and an Olympic medalist.

On the early morning of August 17 Beijing time, Sun Wenyan, together with her partner Huang Xuechen, won the silver medal in the women’s duet synchronized swimming at Rio Olympic Game. They got a total score of 192.3688 in free and technical routine competitions, marking the best result of Chinese synchronized swimming team in Olympics.

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Sun won a silver medal in team competition.
