On August 14, the 8th round of the 18th Chinese Bridge Competition semi-finals was held in Changsha. Top 5 contestants out of 15 advanced to the finals.
The contest was divided into three parts: Listening Test, Sudoku of Chinese Characters; and, Video-based Test. The contestants were required to answer 15 questions.
Finally, top 5 were selected based on their 5th, 6th and 7th rounds performances and written exam results. They were Xiao Ma (Australia), An Zishi (Moldova), Luo Mingyan (the United States), Shi Yu (Egypt), and Jiang Tiangai (Myanmar).
Later on, the advanced contestants will have a fiercer contest to compete for the championship.
