On July 4, Vice Governor He Baoxiang inspected the pharmaceutical industry and the export-oriented economy in Zhuzhou City. He also held a symposium to listen to opinions from relevant enterprises.

Vice Governor He visited Qianjin Group.

Vice Governor He highlighted that  we should follow a people-centered development philosophy and accelerate the reform of “delegating power, streamlining administration, and optimizing services” in the pharmaceutical industry.

He called for:
-Giving full play to the decisive role of the market in resource allocation, to transform resource advantages into economic advantages;
-Strengthening supervision and resolutely guarding the bottom line of safety;
-Improving service levels, to understand the most urgent demands of enterprises, and help them solve development problems;
-Further exploring and promoting traditional Chinese pharmaceutical culture, to research and develop pharmaceutical derivatives, and make pharmaceutical industry outstanding, distinctive, and influential.

He asked to further create a good business environment for open economic development. Efforts should be made to attract investment and achieve great results in foreign trade, to activate the development vitality and potential of the export-oriented economy; and study key industries and products in the export-oriented economy, to speed up the “bringing in” and “going global” pace. We should make good use of the customs, ports and related platforms to form a superposition effect, and help enterprises go global and expand their international market, thus promoting a higher level of opening up, he added.

On the morning of the same day, He attended the opening ceremony of the “Hunan-Europe Express Line” Zhuzhou international freight train and announced its departure.

Luo Jianjun, associate counsel of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government General Office, and relevant persons in charge of the Changsha Customs and the Hunan Provincial Food and Drug Administration also attended.
