Second Polish ‘Circle of Art’ Exhibition Opens in Changsha

The Second Polish Circles of Art in China Exhibition opened at the Hunan Normal University Fine Arts College on December 4. The event has taken a year to organize and will last for five days.

The event presented the work of several Polish artists and various styles.

In attendance were CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee Vice Chairman Ouyang Bin, Hunan Culture Department Deputy Director Yan Fuchu, Chairman of the Polish ‘Circle of Art’ Foundation, Vice President of Hunan Normal University Li Dazhi, and several Polish artists. Speeches on China-Poland art and cultural exchange were presented.

The Changsha event is co-hosted by the Hunan Culture Department and the Polish Circle of Art Foundation, led by the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee, and organized by Hunan Normal University.

This annual national cultural activity is held under the framework of "2016-2019 Protocol on Cultural Cooperation between China and Poland".

It will be held in Beijing, Wuhan, Changsha, Jinan, and Fuzhou, to introduce Polish culture to Chinese people through exhibitions, performances, lectures, workshops, films, concerts, and video games. It aims to improve interaction between China and Poland, and promote cultural exchanges between the two countries.
