Wu Guiying

Vice Governor

Responsible for the works related to education; ethnic and religious affairs; culture; health care, population and family planning; food and drug administration; press, publication, radio, film and television; sports; counselors, culture, and history affairs; and local chronicles compilation.

Wu Guiying, female, Han nationality, born in February 1966, is a native of Tangshan City, Hebei Province. She joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in April 1987 and began to work in February 1990. She has got a postgraduate degree and a PhD degree. She is also a research fellow and senior economist.


1984.09 – 1988.09, studied at the Economic Law Department of the China University of Political Science and Law, majoring in International Economic Law;

 

1988.09 – 1990.02, studied as a postgraduate student at the Economic Law Department of the China University of Political Science and Law, majoring in Economic Law;


1990.02 – 1991.04, legal adviser of the Management Department of the Beijng Nanjiao Diary Co., Ltd.;


1991.04 – 1993.06, staff member of the Legal Division of the Beijing Industrial and Commercial Administration;


1993.06 – 1994.06, senior staff member of the Legal Division of the Beijing Industrial and Commercial Administration;


1994.06 – 1994.08, principal staff member of the Legal Division of the Beijing Industrial and Commercial Administration;


1994.08 – 1998.12, deputy director of the Legal Division of the Beijing Industrial and Commercial Administration;


(Between April 1995 and April 1996, she served temporary position at the General Division of the CPC Beijing Committee Research Office.);

 

1998.12 – 2000.06, director of the Legal Division of the Beijing Industrial and Commercial Administration;


2000.06 – 2001.11, director of the Airport Sub-administration of the Beijing Industrial and Commercial Administration;

2003.09 – 2008.05, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform;


2008.05 – 2008.09, member of the CPC Chaoyang District Standing Committee and deputy district mayor of the Chaoyang District, Beijing City;


2008.09 – 2012.07, member of the CPC Chaoyang District Standing Committee, deputy district mayor of the Chaoyang District, and director of the Beijing Central Business District Administration Committee;


(Between March 2006 and March 2010, she had in-service study at the Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, majoring in Philosophy of Science and Technology, and obtained PhD Degree);


2012.07 – 2012.11, deputy secretary of the CPC Chaoyang District Committee, acting district mayor of the Chaoyang District, and director of the Beijing Central Business District Administration Committee;

 

2012.11 – 2012.12, deputy secretary of the CPC Chaoyang District Committee, district mayor of the Chaoyang District, and director of the Beijing Central Business District Administration Committee;


2012.12 – 2015.09, deputy secretary of the CPC Chaoyang District Committee and district mayor of the Chaoyang District, Beijing City;


2015.09 – 2015.11, secretary of the CPC Chaoyang District Standing Committee and district mayor of the Chaoyang District, Beijing City;

2015.11 – 2018.01, secretary of the CPC Chaoyang District Standing Committee, Beijing City;


2018.01 – present, vice governor of the People’s Government of Hunan Province, and member of the CPC Leadership Group.
