Starting working in March 1976, Mr.Zhang, a professor and supervisor of Ph.D. students in Hunan University is now a member of the Eleventh Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, member of the Tenth Standing Committee of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee, chairman of the Jiusan Society Hunan Provincial Committee, and deputy director of the Hunan Economic and Information Technology Commission.

 

January 2012: elected as vice chairman of the Tenth CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee;

  

July 2009-: served as chairman of the Jiusan Society Hunan Provincial Committee and deputy director of the Hunan Economic and Information Technology Commission (department level);

July 1999 - September 2001: served as dean of the Department of Computer Science in Hunan University;

 

January 1998 - July 1999: served as professor, supervisor of Ph.D. students and deputy director of the Teaching Affairs Office of Hunan University;

 

June 1997-January 1998: served as deputy director of the Department of Computer Science in Hunan University;

 

August 1994 - June 1997: pursued his study of doctoral degree at the Department of Applied Mathematics of Hunan University majoring in applied mathematics, and received a doctorate of science;

 

February 1982 - August 1994: worked in Hunan University successively as teaching assistant, lecturer, associate professor, and deputy director of the Department of Computer Science;

 

March 1978 - February 1982: studied in Hefei University of Technology majoring in computer application;
