Chinese Ambassador to Switzerland Wu Ken spoke highly of Changsha's development when he met with Changsha Mayor Zhang Jianfei on January 29, saying that Changsha is speeding up the pace of internationalization.

At the meeting, Mayor Zhang introduced Changsha's social and economic development in recent years and thanked the Chinese embassy in Switzerland for its care and support for Changsha.

Mr. Wu congratulated Changsha on receiving the honorary title of "National Civilized City". He remarked that Changsha's appearance at the 42nd Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos demonstrated that Changsha is revealing itself to the world via international convention.

Wu expressed his willingness to support Changsha's development, in particular to bridge Changsha and well-known enterprises in Switzerland. He hoped that Changsha will take rapid and solid steps towards internationalization.
