Xiangtan Invests 3.858 Bln Yuan in H1 to Accelerate Transportation Integration

Xiangtan is now stepping up efforts to create a big transportation map as it has been connected to the "artery of city mergence" of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster. On July 20th, Xiangtan’s Key Project Construction Office released the construction progress of its 318 key projects in the first half year, including 48 transportation-related projects under new and continued construction with an investment of 3.858 billion yuan, accounting for 40% of the target task.

 

This year, Xiangtan will focus on the construction of one expressway - the Xiangxiang section of the Yiyang-Loudi Expressway and 11 trunk highways. Up to now, the Xiangxiang section of Yiyang-Loudi Expressway has already signed agreements of land acquisition and grave relocation along the whole highway, and has basically completed the removal along the whole line with 95% of relocation work accomplished and 75% of house acquisition and demolition agreements signed. Among the 11 trunk highways, the Xiangtan County section of Furong Avenue Phase 2 (5.99km of overlapping section with Wuhan-Guangzhou Expressway), the first segment of connecting link from Zhuzhou Station of the S330 Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Railway to Shaoshan Station of Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway (2.27km), Jiuhua section of G320 city ring round Phase 2 (Benchi Road), Jiuhua Avenue (8.61km) and Zhaohua Avenue (4.3km), which have received much attention, are all expected to be built and opened to traffic in the next half year.
