Construction of Liwu-Maojiling Expressway

Introduction: the expressway starts from Liaojiao, Chujiang Villlage, Liwu County, connects to Hengyang-Linwu Expressway, and ends in Xiache, West Xingzi Town, Lianzhou City. It is intersected with Qingyuan-Lianzhou Expressway and connected to Lianzhou-Fogang Expressway that will  be built in near future. The total length of main road is 46.56km, and the length of Hunan Linwu Section is 25.95km, Guangdong Lianzhou Section is 20.61km, it is two-way six-lane road with roadbed width of 33.5m, and the design speed of 100km/h.  

Policy support: according to the needs of the new situation of Hunan, with its rapid economic and social development, after the adjustment of Hunan Expressway Network Plan, Hunan Department of Transportation listed “Linwu-Guangdong Lianzhou” Expressway in the planning adjustment scheme, and wrote Reply to Investment Promotion and Capital Introduction Problems about Linwu-Maojiling Expressway in March 2012, and agreed that Chenzhou Municipal Government be the main organization to attract investment.
