Yiyang National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone

Yiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone was founded in 1994 and upgraded to the national level with the approval of the State Council in June 2011. Located in the downtown area of Yiyang City, it is the "bridgehead" of the city to connect and integrate with Changsha in the east.It ranked 68th in the comprehensive evaluation of 169 national high-tech zones across China.

The zone is divided into Chaoyang Industrial Park and Eastern Industrial Park. It has jurisdiction over three towns (sub-district offices), with a total area of 135.19 square kilometers. It has a planned construction area of 67.07 square kilometers, a population of about 180,000, and more than 300 industrial enterprises of various types, including 175 large-scale industrial enterprises and 68 high-tech enterprises.
